Yay, I love a good fun fold card challenge!
So when I saw this week's Paper Craft Crew notice I was happy to join in.
You may not have heard but on 4 September Stampin' Up! is releasing a new mini catalog and so today I am going to use some of the new products in that mini.
I decided on a fairly easy fun fold to feature the gorgeous new Nests of Winter designer series paper which coordinates with the equally gorgeous new Winterly Treetops bundle. I am not permitted to share photos of these products just yet, so you will have to feast your eyes on my card to get an idea. Here's my card closed:
And here it is open:
What I love most about this bundle is that is perfect for fall and winter and, if you change the phrases for the holiday season you can make beautiful Christmas cards as well.
Come on back on Thursday for my new catalog announcement and to nab your digital copy for free!
Will you join our challenge this week? I sure hope so! And if you are looking for more inspiration, click here to see what the other design crew members created.

This week's Paper Craft Crew card sketch challenge really got me going creatively!
I decided to create a colorful background layer on my card using the Leaf Collection stamp:
This lovely background stamp is the perfect size to serve as the backdrop for your cards. The leaves intertwine to create a lovely pattern that’s perfect for coloring. Add some fall colors to warm the look (like I did on today's card) or go with shades of green for lovely foliage. If you want to step up the look, you can even fussy cut the center leaves and use them as layering pieces.
I haven't used this stamp very much which is too bad because there are so many ways to use it.
Here's how I created my card:
Here's my creation:
I love how it smeared a bit, making my layer look aged and rustic.
Why not try this idea using 3 of your fave colors? There are so many possibilities, aren't there?
Tiip: if you follow me on Instagram, watch for my Reel showing you how I created this card from start to finish!
Now it's your turn to try this week's card sketch challenge; what will you make?

This week's Paper Craft Crew challenge is the perfect way to feature (and use up!) your leftover paper bits.
When I saw this challenge I knew immediately that I wanted to use some leftover Full of Life paper.
I cannot believe how many cards I have been able to create using 1 pack of this paper. And I still have a lot left over for future projects.
As this week's layout is pretty simple, I thought I would keep my card pretty simple too. For the phrase I used my Simply Said stamp set (such a great value!) and Spotlight on Nature dies:
Here's my card using the above sketch:
I doubt that you need instructions on how to make this card, right? Tip: layer the Full of Life pieces onto a layer of Basic Black, then onto the Basic White cardbase for a standout look.
So let me ask you - will you try this card sketch challenge, and if yes, what products will you use? If you want to see what the other design crew members created this week, click here.

Did you know that Stampin’ Up! has released several new products that are only available online? Today I want to introduce one of the fabulous bundles and coordinating gorgeous paper. Both are perfect for many different occasions.
Here’s one of these new products, called Golden Greenery.
It was designed for making beautiful swags, wreaths, and other green designs, either with the traditional bell stamps or alone. I like that the die pack has outline dies but also several springs and leaves dies for layering and adding visual interest.
The bundle has coordinating paper called Season of Green & Gold, also available only online. This pack is appropriately named because of the mix of greens and the gold foil.
Today I am going to show you a bit of an unusual and simple layout idea that is very eye-catching. Watch my video below for step-by-step instructions and different design ideas.
Here's my card.
